Hi, I'm Larry Jacobson, corporate leader, hiring manager, interviewer trainer, private interview coach, and now founder and head coach of Expert Interview Prep.
Drawing on my 15+ years experience on the hiring side (the one doing the interviewing and choosing the right candidate), I now coach job seekers like you to succeed in your upcoming interviews.
I have conducted over a thousand interviews for individual contributor and leadership roles at companies that implement great hiring practices like Amazon, IMDb, Snap, and others (here's my LinkedIn). For the majority of these I was either the hiring manager or an advisor and trainer to the other interviewers.
I have led interviewing panels for a wide array of positions (software engineering, product management, data science, machine learning, UX/UI design, technical program management, operations, sales, marketing, etc.), for candidates of all levels (individual contributors, team leaders, front line and senior managers), across several companies and industries.

Extensive personalized coaching: Eight 1-hour sessions plus email support
Together we'll transform your career accomplishments into compelling stories and a great pitch. I'll consult on your job search strategy, hand hold you through interview preparation, and conduct mock interviews, including plenty of feedback and Q&A.
- We'll meet for eight 1-hour sessions, spaced at a frequency that meets your needs.

- I'll walk you through my system and together we'll create a personalized interview preparation plan

Package 2
Personalized coaching: Three 1-hour sessions plus email support
The same kind of highly personalized coaching as Package 1, just for fewer sessions, requiring less of a commitment.
- We'll meet for three 1-hour sessions, spaced at a frequency that meets your needs.
- You'll have email support throughout, plus 4 additional weeks after our final session
- Together we'll prioritize which of the following to focus on during our sessions. Hopefully there will be time for all, but no guarantee:
- Tips on your resume, LinkedIn profile, and job search strategy
- Walkthrough of my system and a personalized interview preparation plan
- Advice on creating a powerful story bank and elevator pitch, with actionable feedback on the drafts
- Mock interviews so you can hone your skills with live practice, coupled with feedback, encouragement and Q&A
- Through all of this I will take time to understand your unique situation, your experience, your career goals, the companies you’re targeting, and the specifics of your upcoming interviews

Package 3
Single session mock interview or general consultation (75 minutes)
We'll do a structured mock interview followed by constructive feedback, or an unstructured Q&A session around your job search and interview preparation
- One session. Sample agenda (which we can tweak based on your needs):
- Introduction. I learn about your interview journey and the job(s) you're targeting.
- Mock interview. In a simulated live interview I'll prompt for your personal pitch and up to 3 stories.
- Feedback. I'll provide on the spot constructive feedback, covering the content of your answers and your presentation style.
- Q&A. This can include personalized tips for the interview, your preparation strategy, or anything else you'd find valuable related to you landing your dream job.
